The Pupil Premium is to support and develop language and communication across the school. Pupils at Phoenix are aged between 3 - 19 years, All our students have a diagnosis of autism and the majority have severe learning difficulties and language and communication difficulties. This funding has an enormous impact on the curriculum and a positive impact on the communication skills of students across the school.
SPORTS PREMIUM
At Phoenix we put movement, play and exercise at the centre of the curriculum. We encourage students to play sport and be active in order to keep healthy to promote social interaction, to build group skills and to have pathways into the community. We aim to promote social inclusion and economic independence. the sports premium funding has supported specialist coaching staff and provided equipment to allow our students to develop movement sport and leasure to be part of their lives.
