The BBC School Report is a journalism project for students aged 11 to 18 across the UK. You make the news and upload it to your website that we link to via our interactive map. This means that your news is accessible to a worldwide BBC audience. We showcase the work of School Reporters across BBC programmes in the UK on News Day which is Thursday, 15 March 2018.

Safeguarding children
Engaging with children is at the very heart of our remit as a public services broadcaster and the BBC has guidelines on child protection, our Code of Conduct and working with children.
We ask you to seek consent for all the young people taking part in the project, and the head of your school or organisation to sign the partnership agreement. The BBC has plenty of advice on keeping your reports safe and legal, alongside information about our use of social media.
