Our School Values

Phoenix is a well-established special school for children and young people with autism that offers a unique service to Tower Hamlets. We are a large school across three main sites and have two satellite provisions. We are proud of our aspirational and stimulating curriculum. Phoenix offers a range of sensory and therapeutic interventions and a multidisciplinary approach to meeting the needs of our students. We encourage a holistic integrated approach and have a multi-disciplinary team to enable a strong partnership with other agencies, parents and families. We work closely with our families and we are determined to maintain positive relationships between home and school through good communication and supportive training. We encourage our whole community to model our values and work together as one school.

We believe all our students will achieve and have fun at school. We strive to work as one community to ensure they reach their full potential. All achievements are celebrated and positive rewards are used to promote and encourage an understanding of good behaviour and learning.

Phoenix is a positive and happy school with an exceptionally committed staff who care and provide a purposeful atmosphere for every student. There is a good balance of focus between welfare and achievement for all.
